The food was delicious and the portions pretty satisfying! We had 2x beef kare-kare as a main dish. Lumpia,Adobo wibgs and Okoy as side dishes. We also got a mango juice, tried the sparkling lychee and for desert we shared a turon. Every dish was unique. The waitress (Alice) who assisted us was super nice, smiley and helpful!💜 Nice music and vibes! Highly recommended 😀

Excellent Filipino food that tastes homemade :) we got the tasting menu as we wanted to try as many different things as possible, and every dish was awesome. The service was fast and she was good at explaining what the dish is, how it is made etc. There is decent seating space inside, but maybe book in advance because they sure looked packed. Thank you for the special Ube icecream sandwich :)

Cozy and lovely decorated! We loved the fried rolls and the bbq pork belly, the sauce from the beef kare kare was a little bland, the meat was juicy and soft. still worth a try!

Lumpia was very comforting and the star of the evening for me was desert Halo Halo which our attentive waitress said means mixed mixed (for me it reminds me of Sago) ; it was super delicious, mixture of shaved ice, coconut, ube milk and ube ice cream, lychee jelly and some hearty mango bits at the bottom as a nice surprise. Truly spectacular.

I had such a great experience here — the food is authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of heart. Whether you're Filipino or just someone looking to try something new, this spot delivers on comfort and taste. The staff were great, allowing us to eat right before closing time. I highly recommend the BBQ Pork and Bun Bun dessert. Absolutely delicious.

We seriously regret that we have not tried this place before. It serves unique & delicious filipino bowls with 3 meat options + tofu option! Their drinks, both for dinner and as desert, are pure perfection! They have recently made brilliant additions to their menu, like the Ube Crème Brulée!
I highly recommend the sparkling lichi tea and the iced coffee!! (check the photos)
The sooner you try it, the happiest you will feel!
PS1. Having dined there even more times, it has become one of our favourite spots!!!

I used to visit the restaurant a lot when it was located in the basement in Copenhagen, and I was so sad when they had to move to Amager since it's quite far for me. This was my first time trying the new location, and I really hoped the food would still be the same.
I’m happy to say that the food is still just as good and tastes the same as before! But I’m really disappointed that they no longer offer the tasting bowl, where you could get a main dish with some side dishes included (like spring rolls and mussels).
Please bring it back, even if you have to raise the price 🙏—it was so good! Now, you have to buy all the side dishes separately, which ends up being way too much food. I couldn’t bring myself to remove a star because the food is still amazing, but I really think it’s a shame that you can’t get the full tasting experience anymore.
This time, I had the beef tapa, spring rolls, and flame-grilled mussels with cheese. I also had the amazing ice tea and a calamansi juice. The calamansi juice telly brings back memories from my travels the the Philippines.- Service

Best Filipino food I’ve had in Europe. The garlic rice is beyond divine. The sinigang threw me back across the world to my hometown. My friend, who’s never had authentic Filipino cuisine and is quite particular, loved the crispy chicken and the ube ice cream even more. Highly highly recommend. Not pictured: generously seasoned adobo chicken wings and freshly crisp lumpia that were also delicious.

The food is exceptional, I just wish it wasn’t that much of a self service (order and pay at the counter). They can surely work a bit more on the atmosphere, as the tables are too close to each other. I’m totally going back to try more of their dishes.

The bowls are very nice! Great combination of flavours. The options are very limited, you get pork, beef chicken or tofu and the other stuff is always the same, but it is also more than enough! Very nice place.

Incredible place for food! Small place, so don't automatically expect to get to sit down. It's more of a takeout place but either way its spectacular! Great food, great service. Love the vibes. I got the beef tapas bowl and the sparkling litchi drink. Both were perfect.

A great little place, giving you a trip to the Philippines. The atmosphere when you arrive is so friendly, warm and welcoming!! The food is delicious, tasty and rich in flavor. I can really recommend this place! It’s so cozy and relaxing! I’ll eat here again!

There are very few restaurants like Tambayan where you feel like you are visiting family rather than being a customer. The care and joy that they put into the food, and the place, makes it outstanding. The food is excellent, my only challenge is choosing what to eat if you are alone, so I highly recommend bringing friends and family so you can share everything on the menu :).

From the moment I stepped, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, infused with the friendly staff made me feel at home. One of the highlights of course was the Sweet Pork BBQ Bowl, a true masterpiece that exemplified the rich and vibrant flavors of Filipino cuisine. Definitely recommend!
